It’s been two weeks on the Camino yet it feels like two months. Almost to the halfway point and I am still in disbelief that this is my life right now at times. I guess that’s how it feels when you’re living inside one of your dreams.Yet, we must believe something is possible in order to experience it. I’m grateful I started believing.

You usually have to release the familiar to make room for the new that is unfamiliar. This can be scary.Our nervous systems like familiar.
Familiar is much more comfortable, even if it is also something causing stress and sadness.Yet, it at a certain point the familiar patterns may start feeling SO unfcomfortable that change is the only option left. At least, this is the dance that I experience.To adopt a new mindset, you must first let go of old, outdated thoughts and beliefs.To travel, you must let go of the sense of security, the routines, and creature comforts at times.To gain better health, you may need to let go of certain habits that are hurting the body.Let go to make room for the new.
Even when it seems like the hardest thing to do.
Because sometimes the hard thing is the right thing.The fire element can help with this process. This is a big piece of medicine at #burningman with #thetempleThough I have never attended (so correct me if I'm wrong), The Temple is a space where people bring tokens of their past that may be linked to feelings & emotions blocking them from a happier, more free future. Realizing I had been so much more in my masculine 'action' energy & I was being asked to relax into the feminine of simply being & feeling it all.So my last morning here, I went on the rooftop & celebrated through dance between the rising sun 🌞 & the full moon 🌕 from last night.And cried a little in gratitude to Spirit for allowing all the pieces to fall into place for me to be there.Celebrating all the wins, magic, & joy.
